I Made Spaghetti for the First Time Tonight

I have never cooked spaghetti before in my life. Tonight we can no longer say that. I am now a spaghetti chef. It took about 3 hours to make the meat sauce, then 10 minutes to boil the spaghetti and 5 minutes to eat it.

I did it all outside on a picnic table. I am finding it very satisfying to make my own meals. I did go out to Ruby Tuesday’s a few nights ago, because I found one on my travels. I went there because I love the salad bar and the ones near me at home have all closed.

I actually did not enjoy it very much. The last two restaurants I have been to have not been the same since I started cooking for myself while camping. Don’t get me wrong, the food was good and I liked not having to clean up the dishes, but I think I would rather cook a meal and eat it even if it means doing dishes.

(Yes, that is corn in the sauce. I like adding corn to things.)
